One of the few New York speakeasies that ran through Prohibition and survives today, hidden on the Lower East Side behind a toy-company sign and down an alley. Cocktails still come in teacups and beer in brown bags, with a trick bookcase leading to a VIP back room, in a den once frequented by Roaring Twenties actors and gangsters.
